Cookie Policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, work in similar ways. We use the word “cookies” to cover all of them.
How we use them
Strictly necessary cookies — these make the site work: security, load balancing, remembering your cookie choices. They do not need your consent.
Analytics cookies — Google Analytics tells us how people use the site (which pages are visited, how long people stay, where visitors come from) so we can improve it. Data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. Only set if you accept them.
Advertising cookies — Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixels let us measure whether our adverts are working and show relevant adverts to people who have visited this site. Only set if you accept them.
Functional cookies — used by embedded tools such as our Calendly booking widget or a WhatsApp chat button, so those tools work properly. Only set if you accept them or when you use the tool.
The cookies we use
| Cookie / tool | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cookie consent | This site | Remembers your choices | Necessary | 12 months |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Distinguishes users and sessions | Analytics | up to 2 years |
| _gcl_*, IDE, test_cookie | Google Ads | Ad conversion measurement and targeting | Advertising | up to 13 months |
| _fbp, fr | Meta | Ad measurement and targeting | Advertising | up to 3 months |
| Calendly | Calendly | Booking widget functionality | Functional | session / up to 12 months |
This table should be updated to match the tools actually installed at go-live.
Managing cookies
When you first visit the site, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, or choose by category. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings, though blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
